The Packhorse Inn is a converted and whitewashed 17th century laithe farmhouse is known locally as 'The Ridge' in Widdop.  


There are rooms either side of the entrance, with stone fireplaces, exposed stone walls and horse racing colours.  There's a separate cottage with 2-bedrooms (one with a 4-poster bed) Popular with walkers and diners, it's highly regarded for the quality and hearty portions of its food, as well as for the 130 whiskies (or more) that are on offer.
